Eric Munene

I am an agricultural economist, working at Meru Central Coffee Cooperative Union. The last 3 years, I actively promoted youth and women leadership within Meru county, east Kenya. Through my leadership we have seen the number of youth membership increase and youth being accepted as leaders. Most importantly youth now sees agriculture as a source of income and an important employer. We initiated climate smart projects like coffee tree nurseries, indigenous tree nurseries and fish farming.
